Let’s talk inflation: Tire Pumps

A bike pump isn’t just for mountain bikers and racers. Every rider can benefit from owning a good pump. If you’re a recreational rider, a standard floor pump you keep at home will work. For those riders who go off-roading or on long treks, we recommend investing in two pumps: a full-size pump to fill tires before and after long trips and a small pump that can be taken along during those trips.

Things to think about when buying a pump:
Consider tire size and pressure. The more psi a tire requires, the stronger the pump needed.

Racing? You want a pump that’s lightweight and inflates in just a few easy pumps.

Where will you mount the take-along pump? Be sure it won’t interfere with your ride.
